SMS - Short Message Service

In connection with the unicope SMS - system it is possible to dispatch and receive SMS messages via a GSM gateway from all tied up systems (Mailsystem, AS/400, etc.). The integration in the tied up systems is just as comfortably as for example the fax integration.

SMS-Integration
With the integration of the Short Message Services (SMS) unicope makes it possible to dispatch text messages from the PC to a mobile phone. With the help of an SMS-form, the messages are provided similarly to an normal e-mail and sent to the addressee. The address conversion takes place thereby in the background so that only the mobile number of the receiver have to be entered. A comfortable character counter informs about the number of used characters and helps to keep the overview over the length of the message. After dispatching the message an (optional) dispatch-confirmation, as well as a delivery-confirmation can be requested. A comprehensive right management guarantees that the SMS dispatch takes place only from authorised persons.

The SMS function can also be used for the notification of new messages (e.g. e-mails and voicemails). Also as a alerting function the SMS integration can be used (e.g. alarm SMS at increased temperature in the server room).
